Lynda McLauren (Gordon) (1974)

She was a wonderful person that became one of my dearest
and closest friends when I skipped the eleventh grade and
was not longer with my friends of the 75 class.
She had an unbelievable drive to be the best. We talked
a lot at lunch about our plans for the future. She allowed me to make suggestions about how to fix her hair
so she was much happier about having naturally curly hair. We had so many plans. I still miss her and all the things that made her special.
I remember her giving Mr. Glidden a hard time because he gave her an A-, she believed she deserved an A+. I made a B and I studied. She didn't study and was upset over an A-. I heard her dismay I believe for about 2 weeks. I was glad I made a B myself. We talked about what it was like her being Jewish. I think because I was not raised in church and did not go after the age of 5 until I started going to Trinity it was amazing to think that my Savior came thru her blood line. I was in awe of her background. In the 10th grade Mr. Cash had mentioned a trip for the Senior class to go to Isreal, but war had broke out and it was not safe to travel there. So the trip was aborted before it ever got started. I would have loved to have gone there with her!
